![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A quick call to the practice and my antibiotics were ready for collection within the hour.that's what I call real quality patient after-care!I've been advised that I could benefit from a 'night guard,' to help avoid further damage caused by grinding of my teeth (at night funnily enough) and i'm opting for the teeth whitening treatment as well (which I may share another review) in the near future highlighting how things have progressed.Obviously, I pay for all of my treatments and therefore the costs have certainly mounted-up for all of the aforementioned, however, Oakdale does offer a dental plan.which I have opted for. This is one area that I do feel needs to be reviewed, as you can't benefit from the discounts until 6 months of subscription has passed. I can't commend Dr Petrov enough, he was very honest and straight-forward (but not in that over-bearing kinda-way) about which would be the best option and also recovery time etc.Unfortunately, I had a mild infection as a result of my wisdom tooth removal- something which was explained as a possibility (in great detail) by both Dr Chahal and Dr Petrov. I was offered an appointment with Dr Petrov (the in-house Oral Surgeon), the very next morning he worked his magic and said wisdom tooth, was removed. He explained in detail the options available to me (identifying the pro's and con's of each), enabling me to make a very informed decision. Having that 'something-doesn't-feel right' thought, I called the practice and again was offered a visit within days of my return. My appointment was placed with Dr 'Harv' Chahal and from the moment I sat down, his cheerful and professional personality put me at ease.Within minutes I was being sent for an x-ray and he had diagnosed the wisdom tooth issue. After some very friendly (but firm) words of advice about my gum health, I was sent on my way and asked to come back 6 months later.Recently, whilst abroad on business I noticed a high level of sensitivity/pain related to a teeth towards the back of my mouth. She is clearly very passionate about dental health as well as patient care. I met with the wonderful Daisy ( Dental Hygienist) and she explained in-detail, how the Air Flow process works. A quick google search and I found the guys and was impressed by the services offered via their website.I opted for the 'Airflow' treatment which is relatively new treatment and was impressed how quickly an appointment was offered.Initial visit(remember it was towards the end of October), I felt as if I had walked in to a John Lewis Christmas advert.folks this place is plush!!!! Welcomed with a warm, friendly smile (and a selection of warm festive inspired drinks) they could put Starbucks to shame! It's a very calming and relaxing atmosphere and from the moment you walk-in, you're welcomed like a member of the family. ![]() share my review with you (which is something I NEVER do) unless I think it's truly deserved.Ahead of my sisters engagement celebration, I was pestered by her to book in at a dentists for a hygienist appointment. I guess I would be classed as a relatively 'new patient' to the practice, however, it has been 9 months since my initial visit- therefore I'm well placed to. Professional, polite and personable, Oakdale are clearly redefining how dental practices are run. ![]()
